@atmega8, David uploaded a new version where you can use Firewing32 with Chipkit MAX32 board selected as "Target board" - it will work also for your board if you use the config bits for your board.

Anyway, here is another problem that I don't know how to solve: How do I specific that I want my code to compile without considering a bootloader (I know the required ld script is provided) ?
