TFT Touch Screen Module Samples

That's a great example of your recent touch screen module, thanks for posting!

I just posted another sample (buttons) shows how to draw buttons on the tft and use the touch screen to check which button was pressed.

Hi, today I got the 2.4' ITEAD TFT and all the DEMO's ran straight away.

The only problem is that the display is somehow DIMMED!
Very low brighness, it's bearly visible.

What could be the cause?

Initialization code?
Backlight power supply?


Uuups! I fixed it!
There was a 100 Ohm limiting resistor on the ITEAD PCB, for LED+ of the backlight.
Just eliminating it and now it's full brightness!

I'm glad you got it running easily with the TFT module, I didn't have any issues with a backlight resistor on the boards I have from iTead, would it be possible to upload a image of the location of this resistor that you removed? I'm just interested whether iTead has updated the "ITEAD 2.4 TFT" board..
