Firewing

Are there or will there be enclosures for the Firewing and shield systems?

We are currently talking to "Two Hornets" who have just had a successful Kickstarter:

It's called SliceCase and they are looking at supporting Firewing, with possibly the LCD+ as well. I will be posting them some sample boards tomorrow for them to work out the design. I particularly like this case:

Is it the uno version we need?

They will be putting together a dedicated Firewing enclosure when they receive a Firewing board from me. At the moment, there is not a Firewing option. An UNO would work I guess, as Firewing has the mounting holes and power socket in exactly the same position. However, even though the USB socket is in the same place it is a different size (Firewing uses the more sensible mini B). Personally I would wait for a dedicated Firewing solution...

Ah I have gone for the £19 version. I will be getting another Firewing so let me know when you have them.
